The Women's Center at University Park Campus, Graham Center Room 2200, and the Women's Center at Biscayne Bay Campus, Wolfe Center Room 256 have the Directory of Financial Aids for Women, 1999-2000 available for in-office use during regular office hours.

For Anyone

  • The Target All-Around Student Scholarship is offered to students who are dedicated to community service. Distributed by local Target Stores and the national Target Stores corporation. Call 800.537.4180.
  • The Woodrow Wilson Center offers dissertation research fellowships for projects focusing on Women's Studies or Women's Health/Children's Health, as well as the Charlotte W. Newcomb Dissertation Fellowship for dissertations focusing on ethical or religious values.

  • Elaine Gordon Scholarship from the Florida International University Women's Studies Center was established in 2000 to honor the life and work of Elaine Gordon, a former Florida state legislator who for 22 years championed equal rights for women. The Elaine Gordon Scholarship is open to FIU Women's Studies majors or certificate earners enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences.

  • The American Association of University Women (AAUW) offers dissertation fellowships for doctoral candidates and career development grants for women with bachelor's degrees.
