Mentoring Partnerships Program:
Between students and faculty, staff and alumnae mentors structured set of activities designed to initiate and develop mentoring relationships between students, faculty, staff and alumna mentors. - Wild Succulent Women: Each month the Women's Center hosts a forum entitled that engages participants in a discussion about controversial topics related to women's issues. - Women Coming Together – WCT: is a community of FIU Women that pools its resources to support women as they navigate the university environment. Our goals are to:
- Identify common issues in the university and take action to resolve them.
- Share knowledge about navigating the university environment.
- Facilitate personal and professional enrichment.

- Women's Herstory:
The month of March is dedicated to the celebration of women and the Women's Center at FIU facilitates numerous programs that provide us with the opportunity to celebrate our accomplishments, discuss our current status, and empower ourselves to continue to make change. In collaboration with SGA, SPC, Greek Life and many other organizations the Women's Center has brought to FIU empowering speakers and programs like an Afternoon Discussion with Janet Reno, International Women’s Herstory Jeopardy, Fashion Through the Decades, Guerilla Girls on Tour, and Maya Angelou. - For information about this months programs please refer to our calendar of events.
- Take Back the Night –-to promote awareness about the issue of sexual assault and violence on college campuses, the Women’s Center and Victim Advocacy Services, together with other university departments and student organizations, facilitates an annual march and rally during Sexual Assault Awareness month in April. - For information about this months programs please refer to our calendar of events.
- National Organization for Women - NOW: The largest organization of female empowerment in the United States . NOW has 500,000 contributing members and 550 chapters in the US , FIU has it's own chapter! Since its founding in 1966, NOW's goal has been to take action to bring about equality for all women to end all forms of violence against women; eradicate racism, sexism and homophobia; and promote equality and justice in our society. - National Girls and Women in Sports Day Celebration: The Women's Center, along with Athletics and Recreation Services, promotes awareness of women in Athletics, through social and educational activities with students, athletes and members of the FIU community.- For information about this months programs please refer to our calendar of events.
